Our supply package will not arrive until, hopefully, tomorrow morning. So we are resting, studying maps, making contingency plans and eating and drinking like there is no tomorrow!
If the package does not show up tomorrow, we will have it forwarded to Pinedale, WY and pick up what supplies we can at the Lima grocery store, which is the convenience store at the Exxon Station…
John and I have used our trail names twice in the last two days. The first time was with a hiker who said “you guys sound like porn stars, I gotta go.” The second time was just now when the bartender asked for a name for our tab. When I gave her Buck Steele and Johnny D, she said “Oh Lord!” Thirty minutes later, the bartender came over, gave us two tokens, and said these were good for drinks courtesy of the man in the black cowboy hat!
Once we leave here tomorrow, we will be camping out for the next 4 days so I’m not sure when we will be able to post blogs. It is possible we may be able to post multi-day blogs at a market or someplace along the way. We’ll see.
The adventure of Buck and Johnny continue. We enjoy reading about your daily activities. May you both continue your adventure in good health and good spirt(s).
